At one time, we knew, understood and believed in the principle that a fixation with our neighbor’s mote-sized faults only served to obscure our perspective due to “the beam that is in [our] own eye."[1] Our indispensable first President understood this truth when laying out what he termed the Great Rule in his Farewell Address. “The great rule of conduct for us,” he explained, “in regard to foreign nations is, in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible.”[2] In other words, let our neighbors handle their own affairs. We need to focus on our own problems here at home.
This Great Rule was reaffirmed by another president, John Quincy Adams, who expounded it to mean that we, as a nation, “go not abroad in search of monsters to destroy.”[3] We are “the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all,” he explained, but we are “the champion and vindicator only of [our] own.” If we involve ourselves “in all the wars of interest and intrigue,” then our “policy would insensibly change from liberty to force” until, eventually, we would “become the dictatress of the world” instead of a beacon on the hill.
The Framers agreed with these assessments. They warned us that the history of the world in that part of the globe is nothing but useless, unending war that accomplished nothing, and that we should avoid getting involved at all costs— “The history of war, in that quarter of the globe, is no longer a history of nations subdued and empires overturned, but of towns taken and retaken; of battles that decide nothing; of retreats more beneficial than victories; of much effort and little acquisition.”[4]
As such, “the continual effort and alarm attendant on a state of continual danger,” much like our current situation of endless wars, Hamilton warned “will compel nations the most attached to liberty to resort for repose and security to institutions which have a tendency to destroy their civil and political rights.”[5] Can anyone say the “Patriot Act”?
To those who are able to objectively examine the war-torn era of the last 80 years or so with all of our foreign interventionism along with the attendant death, destruction and human suffering of those wars, it becomes painfully obvious that we have evolved into the “dictatress of the world” or what many have termed the “world’s policeman.” This new way of doing things has also been described as the “international rules-based order,” even though no one has actually been able to pinpoint where those rules are written down.
Listening to the rhetoric coming from the proponents of this “rules-based order,” however, it would seem to have something to do with their devotion to democracy. They love to quote each other back and forth extolling the virtues of democracy, while remaining willfully blind to the words of the Framers on the topic.
Afghanistan was one such country who experienced the forceful wrath of the “international rules-based order.” Admittedly, that country didn’t have a speck of democratic principles built into their society. Without question, it was their lack of such values that motivated the “order” to remove Afghanistan’s “mote”. Yet, after 20 years of war, indoctrination, and trillions of U.S. taxpayer dollars, their country became more firmly rooted in their “sins” of democratic omission than ever before. Pagans!
To the astute, it becomes clear that the actual regulations in our new rules-based order exist only in the minds of the leaders of the Military Industrial Complex. These leaders have been exercising force on foreign nations everywhere with their military superiority for far too long. As such, who cannot at least question the efficacy of our military actions and the prescient nature of Adams’ statement to Congress on July 4, 1824? Have we not become a dictatress to the world where we use force to impose our “rules-based order” on nations throughout the world, or, has this “rules-based order” blinded us to the reality that we have become that which our Founders would have rejected outright?
We left Afghanistan in worse shape than we found it. After we removed Ghaddafi, Libya fell into chaos and anarchy. Following our fraud-based intervention of Iraq, it became a vassal of the Iranian Mullahs instead of the democratic paradise we were promised. After having toppled the democratically elected, pro-Russian President of Ukraine, that country has descended into a war of death and destruction – a literal meatgrinder.
By focusing on the less egregious sins against democracy committed by our unenlightened foreign neighbors, we’ve committed the more grievous atrocities of war, death, and destruction and have become completely blind to all of the problems here at home. In ignoring the Great Rule by venturing out looking for monsters to destroy, we are blind to what we have actually become.
The beams in our eyes have obscured our reality. We can’t even recognize the differences between men and women anymore. How pathetic is that? We can’t even see that our open borders policy is actually an invasion orchestrated by the Chinese. We can’t see through the constant hype and hysteria of our democratically-controlled elections that democracy has completely destroyed our Constitutional Republic because the power to control Washington D.C. was stolen from the states and put into the hands of the political parties.
Democracy always self-destructs. This coming presidential election proves it. For example, if a majority of those on the Right still expects that the Left will cheat in this election, and they also expect that the Deep State will still try something else like another assassination attempt or a major false flag, how is that not an admittance that democracy has failed? How can we be so blind to the fact that these expectations are all indicative of a failed system?
Still, President Trump himself is on record saying that he will go to prison for “democracy”, so no one should reasonably expect that he is going to be able to repair our Republic. He is also on record many times saying that he will end the war in Ukraine and the Middle East, but how is he going to accomplish such a near impossible challenge?
We must look to the past first, and then we can see the beams in our own eyes. Our vision is so clouded by spiritual cataracts that most of us are unable to view history through a proper lens. We have been so blinded by our rage to destroy the anti-democratic monsters of the world that we can’t see what is in the mirror anymore. We can’t see that we’ve become that which we once despised because we believe the motes in our neighbors’ eyes are more egregious than our own.
Hundreds of thousands of children crossing our borders have gone missing. Child sex trafficking has been blamed for this tragedy. Hundreds of thousands of our young people have died from the illicit drugs flooding across our wide, open borders. Our city streets are filled with drug-induced, zombie-like victims. Billionaires and celebrities have been engaged in sordid sex trafficking and other heinous crimes. Men with hormone-induced fake female breasts parade naked on the White House lawn. Billions of dollars have been laundered by corrupt politicians into their own pockets and the pockets of their friends through the funding of our unconstitutional wars. Assassinations, both domestic and foreign, have become a regular feature of our own political landscape.
Children are being slaughtered and mutilated throughout our country. Abortion is still a common feature of our society even after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The professional encouragement of child mutilation has become an accepted practice in our medical community. Violent, illegal alien, criminal gangs are terrorizing our once peaceful cities. Government has been weaponized against its citizens. The items on our exhaustive list of “beams” seem endless – yet our leaders are still focus on the democratic sins of our neighbors.
In spite of all the terrible tragedies taking place within our own borders, we have, most recently, been funding a war that has resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands and possibly more. We are told that there’s a “monster” in Moscow who needs to be slain, President Zelensky is fighting for democracy, and we have to sacrifice our wealth and security in order to help him.
As much as I admire President Trump’s fortitude and, just as his understanding of politics was limited in 2016, his understanding of the Constitution and the Framers is still very limited as well. If we do not return to our true Republican principles by repealing the APA thereby destroying the administrative state,[6] return the power to the states in the election of senators and the president[7], and stop imposing our will on foreign nations, our country is not going to be saved no matter who is in the White House.
The “international rules-based order” has been seeking to destroy the “monster” in Moscow. Several people, including President Trump, can see clearly enough that this search and destroy mission could easily lead to WWIII. President Trump has also claimed that the Ukraine war would not have happened under his watch. He told the Wall Street Journal, when he was President, that he gave a stern warning to President Putin not to invade Ukraine, and that is the reason why the invasion didn’t take place before Biden came to power.
According to Newsweek, President “Trump . . . warned Putin . . . not to go to war in Ukraine or he would ‘hit’ Moscow.” President Trump claims to have warned “Vladimir, if you go after Ukraine, I am going to hit you so hard, you’re not going to believe it. I’m going to hit you right in the middle of fricking Moscow.”[8]
Another news source reported that “Putin purportedly voiced his disbelief [that], Trump claimed to have said, ‘You’re going to be hit so hard, and I’m going to take those f**king domes right off your head.’”[9]
When President Putin was asked about the threat, he said “I don’t remember such a conversation with Mr. Trump.”[10] He then waived off the claims as nothing more than mere campaign talk – “The US presidential campaign is currently at such a heated stage, I would suggest not to take anyone’s statements too seriously.”[11] When specifically pressed on how such threats would be received, however, President Putin said that it was “pointless to threaten Russia, since this only emboldens us.”[12] President Putin went on to say that “Moscow welcomes any peace initiatives regardless of who presents them.”[13] President Putin apparently responds more favorably to peaceful options than threats of bombs being dropped on Moscow.
At the recent BRICS summit, President Putin also said that any belief that the West “can inflict a strategic defeat on Moscow” through sanctions, and the Ukraine war, is nothing more than an “Illusion.”[14] He then went on to call out the “international rules-based order” implicitly by arguing that the emergence of BRICS was due to the fact that a “more just world order” is being hampered by “forces accustomed to thinking and acting in the logic of domination over everything and everyone.”[15] Like it or not, this is exactly how our leaders have been behaving.
President Trump’s claim that he made a call to threaten President Putin by dropping a bomb on Moscow that would knock the “f**king domes right off [their] head” is wrong on so many levels. First, it violates the Great Rule that we are to stay out of the political affairs of other nations. Second, it violates the maxim that we go not abroad in search of monsters to destroy. It is not in our power to tell another nation what they can and cannot do.
Third, it makes us the world’s dictator just like President John Quincy Adams said it would. President Trump was literally telling President Putin that if he did something that was unapproved by the “international rules-based order” that they would be killed for doing it. How is that even American in the least?
Fourth, President Trump’s threat clearly violates the U.S. Constitution. Only Congress can declare war. President Trump cannot attack another country without provocation and an official declaration of war from Congress. Russia is fighting a war with Ukraine NOT the United States. They have not attacked us. If anything, it was the United States who attacked Russia by blowing up their pipeline and Crimean bridge. Remind me again, who is the aggressor?
Finally, this kind of behavior will definitely lead us into a nuclear World War. While President Trump has promised not to fight foreign wars, trying to force another country into submission by threatening to bomb their capitol will get us into war with Russia. Anyone who believes that they can threaten Russia’s security with impunity is ignorant of Russia’s history.
President Putin explained it this way, “Only those who don’t know the history of Russia can believe in this, because they don’t take into account the unity and the strength of spirit of Russians forged over the centuries.”[16] Russia was invaded by Napolean and suffered 45,000 casualties during that three-year war, but defeated Napolean’s armies. Russia also lost 27 million in WWII when it was invaded by German forces and defeated them as well. The Russians are historically very tough and extremely resilient. No one should ever believe that Russia can be easily defeated or cowed into submission with threats to bomb their capitol.
Driving this point home, President Putin has just issued what is being termed as their own Monroe Doctrine, and it clearly puts everyone on notice that “Russia will ensure its security as it sees fit, using the nuclear shield to deter anyone who might try to interfere.” According to one news article, Putin’s new Monroe Doctrine can be summarized as follows: Russia will “Fight weaker opponents with conventional forces and use nuclear deterrence to prevent major powers from intervening in ways that could turn these weaker opponents into serious threats.”[17]
The “international rules-based order”, which controls the Uniparty, is currently pushing us into WWIII through the Democrat party. They actually believe that we can inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia through sanctions and the Ukraine war. If the Uniparty ramps up their war with Russia by authorizing the use of long-range missiles, Russia will respond by attacking those countries who provided the long-range missiles with nuclear weapons.[18] Someone in the Uniparty needs a history lesson – STAT!
On the other hand, if President Trump gets elected and then tries to end the war in Ukraine with more threats of bombing Moscow, the results will not be any different than with the Democrats. If President Trump and the Republican Party truly believe in our U.S. Constitution and in putting America first, they will withdraw from NATO and start following the Great Rule once again.
My fear has always been that history will repeat itself, and that the so-called peace candidate will be the one who actually gets us into world war once again. The prior peace candidates, FDR and Woodrow Wilson, both promised to stay out of world wars, but were the ones responsible for getting the U.S. into both of those wars. President Trump has promised no more wars, but apparently is still intent on ending wars in which we have no business being involved by threatening to bomb Moscow.
It doesn’t matter what anyone here in our country thinks about President Putin or the size of the motes in his eyes. We have plenty of beams to worry about here in our own country that need to be removed and remedied. We must not succumb to the temptation to continue to act like the world’s dictator. We must leave Ukraine and the Middle East to fight their own battles. If we don’t, and we continue to insert ourselves into those foreign wars, it will only end in our own destruction.
We need to have faith in the wisdom of the Framers. We must get back to the Great Rule, stop going abroad in search of monsters to destroy, stop acting like dictators, and stop focusing on everyone else’s faults.

Trump has a very good record of keeping America out of foreign wars. He’s a master negotiator and runs circles around talentless Uniparty deep state grifters
